Sunny Leone and Husband Daniel Weber Adopt Baby Girl Nisha

Sunny Leone and husband Daniel Webber have become parents to a little baby girl, they have name Nisha Kaur Webber.

The couple has adopted 21 month old baby from Latur in Maharashtra and said it was love at first sight for them. In an interview to Hindustan Times, Sunny spoke about becoming a mother in just three weeks of finalising everything and said, “I was so happy, excited, emotional and so many different feeling. Usually people get nine months to prepare, we only had three weeks to finalise everything.” Daniel said that the process began two years ago and they were impressed with the amazing work people are doing at the orphanage and wanted to take this as a first step to help them. Sunny added, “I truly believe that Nisha chose us, we didn’t chose Nisha.”

Sunny and Daniel spoke about the feeling of parenthood. Leone said, “Right now, it’s all so brand new because it has just been a few days. The moment we got the picture (of Nisha); I was so excited, happy, emotional and [experienced] so many different feelings. We literally had three weeks to finalise everything. Usually, people get nine months to prepare!”

Daniel added, “Our life is always so crazy. There are no nine months for us. For me, it has just been lots of paperwork for two years and then one day, that’s it. You get an email that you have been matched with a child. It’s so crazy.”

Earlier this week, Sunny said how she might just surprise everyone with a baby sometime soon. She said, “Physically having a baby at this moment will be difficult as a lot of things are happening in my life. But who knows, some day I will just walk in with a baby in hand. And everyone will be shocked, where did the baby come from?”

Sunny also said how she wasn’t ‘sure about surrogacy’, an option that several Bollywood stars have chosen in the recent past. “I am not sure about surrogacy. Actually, I don’t know. I believe God gives you different moments in life and you have to grab one. Let’s see,” said the Ek Paheli Leela actor.

The couple also said how they just did not have the time to have a baby and hence chose to adopt a child. “I don’t know about everybody else, but for us, it didn’t matter even for a second whether it was our child or she not being our biological child. For us, it was about starting a family and I might not [have a biological child] because of our schedules and so many other things but we both thought, ‘why don’t we just adopt?'” said Sunny.
